Makes The Hypothalamus Healthy:
The hypothalamus is a small part of the brain,
centrally situated, very close to the soul and
related with emotional and mental functions.
The practice of Rajyoga meditation influences
the hypothalamus and harmonizes its
neurochemistry. Centers for the control of the
endocrine system and nervous system are
situated in the hypothalamus. Once the
neurotransmitters and neurochemistry of
hypothalamus becomes healthy, all internal
bodily organs like the heart, lung, stomach,
kidney etc., also function harmoniously. The
equilibrium (balance) of the hypothalamus is
disturbed because of several conscious or
unconscious negative emotions in the mind.
Relaxation response, as it is known medically,
is not sufficient to change these emotions

towards the loveful and peaceful remembrance
of the Supreme.

physical yoga techniques, which focus more on
